Job description
We are seeking an experienced legal professional with former federal expertise to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of federal regulations, compliance, and legal frameworks, providing strategic legal guidance to support our operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on federal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and policies.
- Represent the organization in legal matters when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and risk management best practices.
- Advise leadership on legal implications of business decisions.
- Former federal legal experience (e.g., federal agency, government counsel, or related).
- Strong expertise in federal law, compliance, and regulatory affairs.
- Law degree (JD or equivalent) and active bar membership.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in [specific industry, if applicable].
- Background in litigation, corporate law, or policy advisory.
